Turf Infill


Some turf areas require infill while others do not.

After choosing the turf that best meets your needs, whether to use infill or not is the next question to be answered.
Infill is what is laid in the turf to make the blades stand up as well as give it a "real" feel. Infill can be either recycled rubber compound pieces or sand.
Infill is strongly recommended for any sport's fields, playgrounds and higher used areas.
Most other applications such as for small areas on patios or landscaped areas do not need infill.

Infill can be purchased from most larger home improvement stores or landscape supply stores. Masonry Sand of a medium course works well.
